Very powerful
I bought this to replace a Bosch 18 volt grinder with a brushed motor. The Bosch is a workhorse, and is built for abuse. This Craftsman doesn't seem as well suited for abuse as the plastic case is thinner and more brittle. I wouldn't use it on a job site as I would be hesitant to toss it into the bed of a truck. For home DIY it's a beast! Even with only a 4Ah battery the grinding disc took about twice the pressure to stop as the Bosch did. And the run time is decent.

Great battery operated tool.
Surprisingly well built, feels solid and it fits well in the hand. Controls are easy to manipulate and the tool itself is well balanced and easy to operate at different angles. Mine is the brushless model, Fits all my Craftsman OEM and aftermarket batteries. It's now my go to grinder for all small jobs and a few bigger ones before I have to turn to the corded grinders. It does go through battery juice, but if you have a 6.OAhr battery or two you'll be in good shape when some serious grinding is called for. For quick shot grinds the standard factory V20 2.0Ah work just fine. Very handy, well built.

Check contents immediately. Locking wrench was not there
Went to finally use it and the locking wrench was not in the package. By then it was too late to request replacement. So that’s why 4 stars.
